Default Mod. 57 year?

I apologize in advance if I am posting this in the inappropriate place as I am new to the site.

I was wondering if someone can tell me the year of my Mod.57 4in nickle, no dash, and SN#N 6464XX.

Thanks,

SAColt

Welcome to the forum.
That should be 1979-80. Got any pictures? We love pics.

Let me add, a M57 in nickel is not one most of us see everyday. What's the story on it? Had it a long time? Like the 41 mag?

bamabiker, I would rate the gun at about 95%. Obviously it is P&R with original wood grips. I just purchased the gun from a friend and showed it to a guy and he offered to buy it.

Sorry, I have never posted pictures before. I have owned 2 41's many years ago. One blackhawk and a mod. 58. I presently own 2 44mags and have hunted deer and antelope with them for many years.
