Default I've Got A Question

I was looking at threads on M66 no dash's and noticed the early stainless rear sight models seem to have a plain front sight (no red ramp) on them. While I didn't do a ton of research, I did notice this configuration on two different guns.

I have a no dash 66 with the later blued rear sight and a red ramp front.

The question I have is this: Did the early all stainless sighted guns come with the red ramp sight? Was it an option on all the models of the 66 or did it become standard when they switched to the blued rear sight?

Okay, I guess that is actually two questions.

My 66
