Default Date on Mode 14?

Could someone with a copy of the S&W reference book tell me when the Model 14 (no dash) .38 Special I just bought was manufactured?

The serial number is 352409.

I'll never be able to be a collector so I probably won't ever buy the book.

I bought the gun (with wooden target stock) to shoot in centerfire Bullseye.

Many thanks!

Welcome! Looks like a 1959 ship date, which is how S & W tracks sales; popular models probably didn't wait too long after production to leave the factory, but the two times can vary by years in some cases. Enjoy!

Default Thanks!

Many thanks! Looks like maybe I'm on the wrong forum. This gun appears to have four screws, but the barrel is pinned.

A 1959 K frame will have the screw at the front base of the trigger guard (the 4th); pinned barrels were present until the early 1980s.
