Default N-Frame grip number help

I have a pair of N-frame magnas with with the number 35986.
Does anyone have any idea what year(s) they are from?
They came on an old model 1917, but are not original to the gun.
They have the black washers. Thanks for any info.

stmry - I'm going to assume they are non-diamond (around the escutcheon).

If that's the case the serial number would have been N35986.
I'd guess 1970ish

The black washers were eliminated and replaced with stainless ones about 1973. Assuming the grip checkering goes right up to the escutcheons (no diamonds), they were made sometime around 1970.

Do they look like these?
