Found a model 66- for sale in BLUE
Found what the seller claims is one of 700 made.
I never heard of a blue model 66.
Has 4" barrel and orig. box. Marked CSP xxxx on frame under cylinder.
Ideas on value?

I'll bet it is a mis-marked 19.

Never say never, but I'd sure demand some documentation from the factory before paying anything close to a premium on that. My guess would be, if it is a 66 and not a 19, that someone had it refinished. It would be good to get some pictures....maybe the box end label could help, if it has the box.

There was a run of "midnight black" 686s, but this is the first I've heard of non-standard finished model 66s. Interesting if true.

Do the letters in finish box say BSS? as in blued stainless steel?
Chris, please chime in on this one.

Taurus made a blue model 66
If it's a Smith, chances are it's mismarked.

I haven't seen one before but the SCSW does make mention of some 700+ that were made for the Connecticut State Police in blued stainless steel. It mentions .265 trigger but target hammer; red ramp and white outline and that certainly seems to mesh with the label pictured.
Does it say 'CSP0001' in special features? Number 1?!
Tell me you bought it.
