new to me 36
Hi all new here just picked up mod36 pined no recesed cylinder it's a square but it's perfect matching grip#'s very light lug scratch on the cylinder trying to find out the age serial # on the but is j596xxx Thank's

Thank'peepaw I can't believe how good the condition of this gun is it was part of a estate that my lgs was selling bought new ran 10 rounds threw it cleaned it and put it in his collection there were 3 others different model j's in the same cond. I liked this one . By the way My grand kids call me PEPOP

A .38 Special will never have a recessed cylinder.That was only for Magnums, until 1982, and Rimfires.
