The arrows weren't needed (especially in the first picture) but I like to be thorough in my explanations.

Have you shot it? Does it hit to point of aim, or to one side? Remember that different loads will hit to different points on target.
That is the deciding factor, not how it looks.

Not yet unfortunately, but it's the first revolver I bought with a canted barrel. I don't like posting questions without range time but I figured it may be something seen more so now-a-days since other manufactures are suffering from QC.

There have been several posting on this site about canted sights, which is NOT right!
The consensus is to send it back and get it corrected. There is no reason that a barrel should not be properly aligned so the rear sight lines up correctly with the front sight.
It's your pistol......but I would send it back since this seems to be a more than common issue with newer S&W's.
You paid your $ so why not have it right? You may be without your new "toy" for a few weeks but the issue will be put to bed and you don't have to be nagged with it every time you look at it.

I was thinking of sending it back, but I guess I'll shoot some ammo through it of different weights to see what it does. I know it will nag me since I'll see it every time I shoot the thing.

Doesn't look bad and will probably hit at POA. What did you paint the front sight with?

Testors white base and Model Masters enamel florescent red which looks bright orange in any light. I've done the same on many other revolvers and it holds up extremely well.
