Am I missing anything?
I have 4" NTs (S&W designation for a target grade N frame) in 357 Magnum, 41 Magnum, 44 Magnum and 45 Colt. Have I missed a caliber?
I know a 27 with target stocks would look more fitting than that sad HP but I don't have a 4" M27.

Model 24 and I think that S&W made a few model 25s in 45 acp with a 4" barrel but they're about as scarce as hen's teeth.

There is also the 610 in 10mm and 38-40 WCF, that's two more calibers you missed.

I'm thinking P&R era guns so anything post 1982 is out. As would be any special order or limited edition models.
But yes, the Model 24 (1950 Target) in 44 Special would be the missing element and it will go right on missing at what one would cost me. Oh well...
I may consider a 4" M24 to be a special order Item and feel better about it.

Oh, you just posted this picture to brag, SP! Nice collection of 4" N frames, though.
And, there is nothing "sad" about a Highway Patrolman. They are great revolvers. Maybe not as pretty as a 27, but they are what they are!
Let me know when you find that 4" 24. Good luck. I'm happy to have an ANIB one with a 6" barrel.

SaxonPig, That is a beautiful group of 4" N-frames. When I saw them I took a quick snap shot of these two 4" 27-2's for you. They are both home defense guns, hence the after market stocks (and they are shooter grade). The Missing Link!?
This looks like a cell phone picture, but it's not. Just hurried. How much training did you have to go through to get them to stand up like that?
