Modified Magnas/Diamond Modified Magnas?
Recently I have seen these terms. Exactly what is that? I am just not hip.

Modified Magnas are rounded at the bottom. MM is the official S&W term while many folks call them "Plain Clothes" or PC. The MMs are commonly found on 1970s and later K frames but the only N frames that came with them (as far as I know) were the Model 58 and the NYSP Model 520.

Good info above. From what I have seen (probably not 100% as with anything S & W) the fixed-sight guns came with either style, but the target-sighted guns tended not to have these.

And the "diamond" refers to those grips that have a diamond of wood around the grip screw hole.
