Default Well marked Model 66-1

I was photograhing one of the brood, and there are a lot of numbers on this gun!

Any insights on what they mean?

I can help you with a couple, the 36222 looks to be an assembly number as it matches the frame and yoke. Used by the factory to keep matching parts together on the same revolver. There are many more schooled collectors than me who will be along shortly to help you with the others.

The big S means stainless. The five digit numbers are assigned to keep parts together during manufacturing and mean absolutely nothing once the gun leaves the factory. The single letters and numbers are fitters and inspectors stamps.
