Anyone bought these yet? Just got my package in the mail. Once i get them on i will post another pic and see if they are worth 40 bucks

I bought a pair for my Model 34-1 a few months ago. The shipping took forever (maybe three weeks) but I was relatively patient since I knew they were coming from halfway around the world. Fit was not perfect, and required me to break out the dremmel tool to allow the hammer to be cocked into single action. I also noticed the grips were a little loose, but cured that by placing a shim inside. (I created the shim by cutting a piece of a guitar pick.) The shim has worked, but I wonder how it would hold up if the recoil was worse than a .22. Overall, they are not Ahrends or Altamonts, but not bad for the price.

I bought one set last year. N frame. They didnt fit as good as hoped and the finger grooves didn't work out too well but they're purty. I wouldn't buy again. Mine had enclosed the backstrap.

I bought a set of K frame round butt. They fit perfectly and look pretty good. I've heard good and bad. I think it varies by seller.

I bought a set several years ago from Thailand for a Model 36 and they fit great and the grain and color was also very good.

I bought a pair to try them out. They were a little off on the fit, but a little sanding was a quick fix. The sandalwood had a beautiful grain and was book matched. They are also very comfortable with the finger grooves. For the money they are nice, but I'd rather have a pair of
Ahrends. I'd rather pay a little more, and support American makers.

So they are on. Here's my overall opinion. They fit tight. They are a little off in some spots compared to ahrends shown on the model 19. The one thing i would change is they should have recessed the holes for the grip screw better. As far as function, they feel great, every bit as good as ahrends. Although i would take ahrends over them. $40 shipped is a great deal!

Here they are on my 28-2 and 605 Taurus. I have had good luck with both, fit and finish is excellent and I wouldn't hesitate purchasing another.

I bought a couple of pair from a Thai-based ebay seller. Both K Frame sized, and rosewood. They fit the grip frames very tightly, the inletting was very precise. They did need a few minutes work with a couple of grades of sandpaper where the seams met at the front of the grip to get a perfect seam without one side being higher than the other but I considered that a minor point. I am happy and the grain and color is very nice.

My set for a K frame round butt look nice and fit well, but are a bit wide at the top and square. They hurt after a couple cylinders in my 686. Took them off for some sanding. Brass cross screw is cheap and soft.

I just got a pair of grips from Gun Grips for Sale| Colt 1911, Python and Woodsman - Exotic and Beretta Wood |Revolver and Handgun Grips for my 29-3. Not sure where they make their grips, but prices aren't bad. I bought the bonded ivory panel grips and fit was very tight. While trying to take them back off for adjustment, the bonded ivory is soft and I marred them. DOH! Still didn't get them off.

Mine fit fine.
