Prettied up M66-2
I've been a lurker for some time and an S&W lover for a whole lot longer. Carried my dad's M-36 when off duty with the Detroit PD in the early 60's. I had a chance to pick up a nearly new M66-2 owned by a former sheriffs posse member in Cheboygan, MI. The original grips were a bit blocky and had a brass plate added to the butt with a lanyard hole. I kept the grips intact, but replaced them.
Action job by Denny Reichard, new grips by Blu Magnum. Engraving by Michael Gouse.

Welcome to the forum.
You have a great revolver with provenance, too!
And, additional photos are always appreciated.

Need to take Momma to a concert. When I get a chance, I'd like to post pics of my pre-M15, pre-M18 that share a holster with this one. Had to get a different holster for my M29-2, but they make a nice package.
Thanks for the compliment.

slipnotz, I guess you probably noticed he can shoot too! A friend and I took a revolver class from him. I have a pre-M-15 that I took along (although I shot the class with a M-24). Denny noticed a slight bulge in the bbl of the Combat Masterpiece. He grabbed a box of .38's and said "Let's see how it shoots". He proceeded to run a row of steel plates at about 20yds. He then set up an empty 28ga shell at the same distance and drilled it. Said he didn't see anything drastically wrong with it, picked up a stone, threw it in the air and sent it sailing out over the trees. That was the afternoon before our class. He sure established his credentials. My friend took along an M58 for Denny to tune. When we picked it up, Denny rang a steel plate 5 times in a row at 200 yds with my friend's handloads. Denny is an artist with tools and trigger finger.

Bladepeek, I've known Denny for a lot of years. I've seen him do those things and more. If it has to do with a handgun, he is the person you need to talk to. He put on a show for my son about 15 yeas ago, that we still talk about to this day. If there was one person I wouldn't want to shoot at me it would be Denny.
