Model 19-4 .357 Magnum 6" barrel

I recently purchased this revolver and am wondering about value range and when these were manufactured. I bought it because I love the way it looks, shoots, and feels in my hand. Thanks!

The Model 19-4 was made from 1977 to 1982.

Depends on a variety of things. Blued I assume? I traded an XDS for a mint nickel 19-3 4" not too long ago. No box or docs, but I was happy to have it and had gotten the XDS for $525otd (which I ran out and bought another anyways). I think going rate is $450-550. Maybe more with all documentation, and either the 2 1/2" or 6" barrels as they are less common. Now that I have mine, I doubt I'll ever sell it.

A serial number (you can 'x' out the last couple digits) would let us pin it down a lot closer for you.

I traded a $425 Glock G22 straight across for my 95%+ 4" 19-4 last year. Whatever you paid is what yours is worth!:)

the model 19 S&W was made by the factory as either blued or nickeled... if your pistol is stainless steel & looks like a model 19, it would be a S&W model 66...
