Default Value of M19-4 snubby and M36 (no dash) snubby

I am think thinking about a trade for some S&W and not super familiar with these, as I have been more of a colt person.

1) LNIB- Includes Original Box- 98-99% condition, Blue, M19-4 snub nose. No turn lines visible in the pictures. Original Grips

2) M36 UltraLite .38 - 98% condition Blue snub nose. Original grips

Can anyone provide some info relating to the value? I looked at gun broker and found couple of 19-x, but not any snub nose 19-4 with box.
Thanks!

The 2.5" model 19s are in demand right now, so $550-600 sounds about right. The model 36 would be in the $400-450 range.

Agree with around $600 for the 19-4 snub. Put it on Gunbroker and you might get even more than that.

Crazy prices on 19 and 66 snubs on there lately. Good luck! Regards 18DAI

You got it! I like a little burn...

After a little more research, it looks like the -4 is less desirable because of the manufacturing (cost cutting) measures that are correlated with the -4. Anyone care to confirm or call error?

Thanks for the info guys, its appreciated!

Nothing significantly different between the -2, 3 and 4, unless the -4 is one of the later ones that is not pinned/recessed.

The 19 and it's ss cousin 66 in snubby versions are truely great guns. I have both and really enjoy shooting them. . My 19-5 isn't pinned, is nice but doesn't have a box, etc. was a $500 gun a year ago.

Yes. The major change that came about with the dash 4 was moving the gas ring to the cylinder. And that was an improvement.

There may have been some late dash 4s that were non-pinned and lacked counterbored charge holes, but usually those features are associated with the dash 5.
