I just grabbed a Smith model 60 with fixed rear sights # R8344 curious how old it is It shoots suburb and got it for a song.

So maybe 1969 a nice early mdl.60

I am really happy with it. It is my very first Smith revolver. Now just have to do a little polishing. It was 325 out the door no box as is. Good price I believe I'm not really sure the going rate for one.

That's a good price. I've seen many sold for over $500 lately.

If it's in good shae, you got a good deal. I recently bought a pretty nice 1970-73 vintage one for $425 OTD at the LGS, but the brother of a friend decided he liked it & I just sold it off for $475 with a set of uncle mike boot grips thrown in.
