Default Extractor Plunger Right or Left Hand Threads?

Just picked up a nickel 27-2 3 1/2" with #206XXX. Looks like about 1974 production. Anybody know if it's a right or left hand thread on the extractor plunger? Also, where can I get a set of 3 side plate screws in nickel or Stainless? Thanks, Jim

That age should be left hand. IIRC, the knurling on the LH threaded rods is bordered with a tiny relief, and the RH are not. Make sure to use some empty cases in the cylinder so you don't shear the ejector pins off!

Sideplate screws are a good question. Jack First (Frist?), Numrich, or the factory would be my guesses. Or a WTB ad here on the forum.

Good Luck!
