highway patrolman mod 28 new to me
got this in a trade need help with birthday s/n s214654 its seems to have been carried more than shot it has a sweet trigger and i think orig grips .any info would be greatly app.thanks

Somewhere close to a 1961, I believe.

working on the picture not so good at that but the grips look like early j frame square butt just bigger.

As they should have. If you take them off they may have the
serial number of the gun on them.
ETA: If they fit so as to be able to read the serial number
on the grip frame with them on they are called Magna stocks.

your grips are wider than mine i have a little over a half inch between the trigger guard and the grip and a 3 inch barrel.working on the picture.

Weatherby has target stocks on his.
Are you sure it's a three in barrel?
Measure from the front of the cylinder for barrel length.

yes looks just like it only yours is much cleaner.those grips are the same only the diamonds are diff.

thanks for the info peepaw your gun is pretty much the same only my cylinder bluing is worn between the flutes. and retired any help is greatly app post away .

it also came with a nice old holster a bucheimer bfmw-380 so i suspect it was a leo gun it looks worn on the outside but the inner barrel is very clean and crisp lands and groves.
