Default Need Help Identifying Revolver

I am new to this site, however I need some help. I have a very nice revolver that was handed down to me from my grandfather, and I do not know alot about it. It a .22 long rifle CTG, seems to be factory engraved, adjustable rear sight, fixed front sight. Serial # 3250XX then has a large space then a letter B. Can anyone help? I will try and attach a pic. the best I can tell from doing some research is that it is a K22???

The number you provided appears to be the factory assembly number. To view the actual serial number, the hand grips need to be removed. The serial number is stamped on the bottom of the grip frame. The serial number probably begins with a "K". It appears the hammer has been replaced or modified as the spur is missing. This is likely a Model 17.

Hope this helps.

OK I will take the grips off when I get home, as for the Hammer it was broken some years back, need to find a good gunsmith to fix this for me.
