That is gorgeous! Run, do not walk! For the price of a Glock, you can have THAT. It's a no brainer to me.

NO! It's WAY too high!!
I'll send you the $550 and when you send me the -3 it will be yet one more way overpriced six gun taken off the streets where some unfortunate innocent may get duped into paying too much.

Two choices: (1)buy it and be really happy or (2)pass it up, delete these pictures and spend the rest of your life trying to forget.

Not a big 6" fan myself, but that seems like a good buy.

Thanks for the advice. And no, I'm not kidding, I did a search on the forum on values and they're kinda all over the place. And I usually have to sell one to buy one. So I have to decide if I like this better than say, the 15-3 I recently bought. I did pick up a 36 pretty cheap the other day that I could sell. With the wear on it and the price I was thinking on making it a truck gun. But I really do like this 19-3. My collection is kinda 'all over the place'. I try to stay older (1950-1960's) but I really like the 357 Magnum and have a early M-27 8 3/8 and an early M-19 4" but don't have a 6".

Price sounds reasonable in these parts, and condition looks very good. I also have a -3 6" and it shoots superbly. I once hit a standard sized junk fire extinguisher at my brother-in-law's target/junkpile from an optically measured 120 yards using commercial .357 ammo. I knocked it over on the third shot, extremely satisfying. Got mine on GB about 6 years ago that was only listed as S&W .357, no model designation. Thus, I was the only bidder. I paid $335.00 then, but I know I stole it and would have paid up to $450.00. Six years later it is definitely a $550.00 gun. Or more.

Revolvers have hit a new across the board. No more $400 and under. When I see something I like, I buy it before someone else does. The candidate you are considering is in rare condition. If it suits you, i wouldn't wait.

I got one is very similar condition for 599. I dithered a bit, at the store.... Until they let me take it down a bit and clean it. Once it was cleaned... I jumped on it with both feet.
Thing shoots so well with wadcutters, it feels like cheating. *ETA: I know the grips are wrong, that is a work in progress.
