.41 Magnum with a 10" barrel???
Did Smith ever make a .41 magnum with a 10" barrel in nickel? A seller says he has one for sale. Could it possibly be a Silhouette I don't know about? Thanks for your help.

But, if it was, I highly doubt it would be in nickel, unless the guy can't tell the difference from polished stainless.

I have run into something like this in the past as I have stumbled on folks that include the cylinder measurement as part of the barrel length. Can you ask them to re-measure it? Kyle

There is a pic of a 57 with a shilloutte front sight and barrel longer than 8 3/8 in SCSW III , pg.220.

...and the text says two with 10" barrels and adjustable front sights were made as prototypes by the factory.

Wow I like the long barrels, didn't know there was such an beast, I do know a few Dan Wessons were built with 10" tubes.
