Default S&W Model 19-3 value and manufacture date
New to the forum and have a model 19-3 smith in 357 with a 4in barrel, gun is stainless serial number is 7K1618, if somebody could tell me year of manufacture and value from 100% down i would appreciate it.

Welcome! The model 19 is a carbon steel gun, blue or nickel finish, but an aftermarket hard chrome finish would make it appear to be stainless. Its value would depend on its condition and if its finish is original, but if it is NIB $550 sounds about right.

The serial number indicates it shipped in 1974. Hope this is helpful.
