Looks like 76" or 77". Probably 1977.

$400 sounds more like an offer to buy rather than an appraisal of value.

I sold the very exact same gun for $500s over 10 years ago when I lived in california and I sold it reluctantly to a friend. Do you live in california?

I bought that exact gun at the Lakeland show a couple years back, a young fellow selling daddy's gun. About perfect but no accessories, $525. I did get it to my truck but a former forum member pried it from behind the seat for $600. Today I'd be a buyer at $600 for just the gun and probably another $50-100 for the "goodies." This recent, maybe 90%+, no nothing and those are my grips was $625. I thought it was worth that. Joe

That is a very nice looking revolver right there.. Ive been getting into revolvers over semi autos the past year just a beauty (looks) and knowing 99% of the time its going to fire. But on some of these auctions lately prices are CRAZY right now.. Maybe because of all these states that are taking their gun rights from their people are forcing alot to go with revolvers? I guess i dont know but prices seem to be high and people are getting what they are asking alot of the time..

I think a revolver is like an old railroad pocket watch. There are modern timepieces that keep "better time" but when someone breaks out a fine pocket watch I stop in my tracks. People like to connect with that "unexplainable phenomenon" and will pay for it. Joe

Dick wasn't either. Hmmm... It was "bossman's" fault, that's it. He was there and beat me up again for the 20th(?!?!) time. Joe
