Default Smith 22 mag

Was thinking of looking for a Smith 22 mag. Would like a short barreled one. Was the Model 51 the only Smith made in 22 mag with a 3 1/2" barrel? seem to be on the scarce side.
thanks for any info

The 351PD is an awesome little gun and would be first on my list. I have one and its delightful to shoot. The Airweight frames are not known for taming recoil which makes it a perfect match for the low recoiling 22 Mag. Many don't agree with me but its one of my favorite calibers.
Here is a stock photo:

The fixed sight 650 was a 3" heavy barrel and 651 4" standard weight. The 51s are a great gun and getting very pricey especially if it has the extra rimfire cylinder with it.

There isn't a lot of difference between the 3.5" and 4" barrels in shootability or packability...

Bought this one last year from the estate of a friend...it has the extra .22 rimfire cylinder with it...

This is a 63 with a fitted 651 cylinder....

There was also a run or 651s with 2" barrels....

You can also get a model 48 with a 4" barrel if you want a K frame. They are all pricey these days
