Default helping a widow

respectfully ask for any help. A widow client asked me to help her sell her 2 SW revolvers. A very nice chrome/wood one serial number 8k13968 with a night site. one with a bit of rust, blued serial number C895335. I think they are .38 cal. not sure. can anyone give me an idea when these were manufactured? many thanks.

Pictures, model numbers and any identifying marks would help.

Hello legacypatrick and welcome to the forum. It would be helpful if you could post a few photos of the subject revolvers. I am not much on serial numbers, but someone will be along soon to answer that question. The calibre will be stamped on the barrel. Also if you open the cylinder and at the frame under the barrel, you will find the model number. This will be helpful in establishing a value. Good luck on helping the widow sell the guns.

serial#8k13968 looks to be a 1975 model14,15,67 or 68 if it is .38.the other looks to be a model 10 or 12 from 1966 or 1967 if it also is a .38.pictures will tell the tale
