Model 19-3 custom
Finally worked out a deal on this Model 19-3...transformed into true DAO ..professionally done had a nice action job done ...

Sometimes reducing the mass of the stock K-frame hammer leads to misfires, especially if you smooth (lighten) the trigger up too much. Ruger got around that by making a factory spurless hammer with the same mass as the standard one. Never the less it is slick and if set up right a dream to shoot. I have a M-64 3" RB set up similarly. I like it a bunch, though it is not nearly as pretty as yours.

I've put several rounds through this gun..38 LWC ,38 LSWC..38 +P LSWC...125 gr 357 mags (full house..) no mis fires or light hammer strikes... really a nice well balanced SD piece

I've heard this, but never pinned anyone down who ever actually had a misfire from a bobbed hammer. It seems exclusively a result of spring alteration. Sort of Like the "dime the in bodyguard jamming the hammer" story.
That's one real nice magnum carry piece.
