Default New purchase 19-3 2.5

My buddy Walter called me yesterday afternoon after he got home from Cabela's down the road. He told me of a 19 they just put out. I went, I saw, I bought. After looking at it closer I believe it's a '75 DOB and probably refinished. I think somebody sent it back to the factory for a refinish and TT install. It's got a trigger overtravel stop which I thought they were an option? I replaced the rubber grip with the only K frame RB grips I have on hand. Any ideas what indicator stamps might denote a factory refinish? Theres A "C11" overstamping the assm. # in the crane and a matching C11 on the frame under the grip. Side plate screws are a bit flat like they were buffed, and cyl flute edges look like they're not as sharp as they should be.

They were standard with all triggers until '79 and only came with TT after that.

Here's some examples of factory rework marks. The C11 is just an inspector or fitter's mark

Thanks for replies and information from snw19_357. I think it's a reblue, probably not S&W job though. It's a pretty nice gun.
