Default Catalog question

Can someone tell me the name of the catalog everyone uses to check models and date serial numbers and where I can buy one? I have several S&W's I would like to date and I think I should have this book. Thanks

Doyle

For those who want one right away, bigger book stores like Barnes & Noble usually have a copy or two on the shelf. To put a finer point on it, if you have any interest at all in buying, shooting, collecting, identifying, or any-other-ing the S&W, the SCSW is a must-have. I bet the answers to over 75% of the questions that are posted on this forum can be found within its pages, and since "knowledge is power," the catalog won't cost you money (in the long run) it will save you money. I occasionally see one or the other of the authors at a gun show and I plan to pay them the author's ultimate compliment... I want to have my copy autographed, but it is well worn from repeated reading and use, not a pristine (therefore unused) copy. I guess you can tell that I really like the book.

It is THE essential book on S&W's. You will like it.
The 3rd Edition (on the right) is the latest and greatest.
