Awhile back I traded for a model 14-2 8-3/8" because I like to shoot wad cutters, which it does quite well. Then I found on GB a S-W kit with target trigger, hammer and SAO conversion and had a local smith put it in and make it about a 2# trigger. It performs even better! All that could be reversed if I wanted to restore to original shape.
Then, I saw a 14-4 8-3/8" DA with target grips, trigger, hammer, pinned bbl with not even cylinder wear marks or muzzle wear for $600 in orig box. It followed me home today. (Now I have one for both hands!) I may run a few rounds through it then lay it up in the safe.
Did I make a good investment?

I have a 14-3. I really like it. My son however, really, really likes it. That means he gets to shoot it more than I do. Great guns!
