M&P 10-8 Nickel unfired since 1978
I bought this sweetheart last week from a retired vet, he bought it new and been in the safe ever since. It went to the range today
What a joy to shoot, forgot how much fun 38spl was.

Gotta love that nickle finish! Beautiful looking gun. I don't think the box goes with it though, because a pinned barrel, 1978 gun wouldn't have shipped in a Lear Sigler box. They didn't take over S&W until 1984. More than likely, your gun shipped in a grey, two piece box.

If you haven't already, you may want to pop off those grips and check the frame underneath for slight amount of gunk or corrosion. Have seen the corrosion problem previously with the metal liners of Pachmayr grips.
