Default Hugh Harrison K22 Four Screw

I picked up a K 22 with 6" barrel Tuesday. It locks up tight and has a little surface rust that I'm gonna work on tomorrow. It's got some kind of cheap snap on rubber grips that I'll probably replace with some fake plastic stags until I can find something more suitable. It's a four screw with no model number and looks like it was made in 1957. I was nine years old then. I didn't really need it but an old friend in not so good health was selling his collection so his wife won't have to deal with it later and the price was cheap. It's got the name "Hugh Harrison" nicely engraved on the left side of the revolver and being that it's only a shooter anyway that doesn't bother me. I do wonder who Mr. Harrison is/was. I didn't really need this gun because I have a five screw from 1952 that's in a little better shape, but again, it was cheap. I googled Hugh Harrison and found about a million of them which I figured I would because that name combination is fairly common. Hugh, if you're still out there speak up, I've got your gun. I guess I'll get it lettered and see what comes up.

l bought an unfired 19-3 off GB a few years back for a song because it was engraved with a name on the sideplate. Seller said the work looked like it been done with one of those gold engraving pens they used to sell in hobby stores. Anyway the gun comes and l recognise the engraving like the factory personalizing they used to offer. SW logo stamped on the ejector side of frame. "C D HALL" set into a gold frame on the sideplate. These personalized options cost $75 back in the 70s from the factory. RR/WO sites. TH TT make it a great "shooter" too. The gun came w/smooth magnas and from the light feel of the trigger/hammer, maybe an action job too.
Honor Mr Harrison's K22 by taking his namesake to the range as l do Mr Hall's 19 with a gentle diet of 38 wc and an occasional 357

And that I shall do. Now I need to probably sell the similar five screw I have because I don't really need two of them.
