My son recently bought a George lawrence holster thinking it would fit one of his S&W revolvers and it didn't. The number on the holster is 79 and it also has 680 & 677. I told him that someone on the S&W Forum will know. Your help will be appreciated.

680 is the size code for a Colt 6" New Frontier .22 SA and a 6" Peacemaker .22 SA revolver.
677 is not listed in any of my catalogs and a holster generally doesn't have 2 size codes listed. 79 is the holster model number.
