Default My latest 28

I managed to work a deal on a nice 28-2, a young man selling it for his father. It's a former LEO gun, not sure where it was carried, but it's the only 4" I have. Circa 1978ish, according to SCSW....

I suggest watching Armslist.....it's where I've scored my last several acquisitions, and for more than fair prices!

Congratulation on the purchase as they are great revolvers.

I picked this one with an S serial number up about 4 years ago in a trade for a Model 66 no dash with all the goodies.

That one is real nice fyimo! Mine came with Goodyears on it, but I knew I had a correct set of magnas at home that would be perfect for it. I like your targets!

Good choice, A10 (Mr. Warthog). No one should be without a 4" Highway Patrolman.
My very first centerfire revolver was an HP. My brother had one too, and used it to win many trophies when he shot on his college handgun team. My first one now lives with one of my sons and there are a few others in the family. I would not want to be without one. I like the 6" version also, but the shorter barrel one is still my favorite N frame.

Are those the original stocks?
I have an S serial numbered one with Target stocks, and I don't think they're original.
