Default S&W 29-2..4"

The trigger and hammer bug me a bit but won't know til it hits home.
Decent 4" 29-2

A little slow on the draw, weren't you? Gun was on GB for an entire 22 minutes. That's about the only way to get a great deal on GB.

Nice gun and a great price.

Wink

Looks like it's in good shape overall. The trigger and hammer appear to have been ground down from the "Target" size. I once bought a Model 57 that was pristine, except the case color had been polished off. I was told that Mike Stuckslager liked to do that. Anyway, the forum member who goes by "judge" sold me new target hammer and trigger to make the gun original. I believe he's still in business here.

I understand why people grind on the target size T&Hs since I find them too large. In any event, it's a good shooter.

Unhappy Diasppointment

For an extra $275 I got nicer grips, blue box, presentation case, tools & docs, and alledged to be unfired. While the background check was getting completed, I took care of the "unfired" problem.

That is a sweet deal ! ! ! ! ! !

Congratulations !

Wow, that's a nice score. Even if you have to locate a correct hammer and trigger, you're still in at a great price. I love 4" 29's.

Nice score! Awesome price!

A year ago I bought my 4" 29-2 with box, docs, target grips and factory hardwood combat grips for just under $900 OTD and was told I did very well.

Love my 4" N-frame! But I NEEED just one more...4" m57...

It's always "just one more"...ask my wife, she'll tell ya

That's a great snag on a 4 inch 29-2. Looks to me like the hammer and trigger were polished.
I'd want the case colored trigger and hammer but at that price you can't pass on a 4 inch N frame 29 because of a polished trigger and hammer especially if you have replacements.

Nice score!
