It feels good to be shown to be right. I told you guys a long time ago when I got one of the earliest sets of grips he sold through the forum that he was good and getting better! I'm proud now to be able to say "I knew him when." Those BW Magnas are just simply gorgeous, but the FDL pattern on the maples just blows me away. Great Work!

Great work on those grips. Do you alter the LPI based on type of wood or the firearm you are putting the grips on? What is your standard LPI.

And there it is...the fact of the matter is that it is damned difficult to get a fine pair of checkered custom stocks with nice wood these days at all, much less in Roper, Sanderson, Fitz, Kearsarge, or other classic styles. My order with another maker is over sixteen months now, and I have no clue when I'll get them. Prepare for business Schofieldkid81.

This pair is done in feather crotch walnut. The fit is exceptional. The grain ain't bad either. Gotta get a pair of those magnas!

I only do 16 , 18 and 20. The harder and more dense allows for finer Lpi But mostly it based on ascetics and matching original patterns

Is Schofieldkid81 still doing grips? I haven't heard anything from him for some time. His work was really great IMHO, and I hope he's still making grips, but I haven't heard a word for a couple of years now.
