Yet more love for the 67 here too. I just picked up this beautiful 67 ND a week ago. It's very quickly becoming one of my favorite guns to shoot.

The 67 and 15 are the true original essence of revolver shooting for me.

I just got a 67-1. Bought it from a member here.

I live about 4 hours from the seller. USPS took from Tuesday morning until Saturday morning to get it delivered............

Oh well, it's in my hot hands now!!

I plan to qualify with it and carry it at work some too......

I owned, and carried one about 30 years, or more ago. Very good, accurate revolver. I don't believe they were issued very much, most departments that went with adjustable sights went with the 66.

Same here. I was issued a 4" nickel Model 19 when I reported to the Academy in August of '81. Got on SWAT in '83 and carried semi auto's since then.

Still missed my old wheelguns. Keeping my eyes open for deals now..

Here's a 67 no-dash with a butt-ectomy, a HiViz front sight
epoxied into an eighth inch slot, a slightly cut-down and opened
Model 41 auto rear sight blade, and some internal meddling as well.
It's a honey of a shooter. Likely has the smoothest action of my entire herd.

For those who suffered heartburn over the ruined collectibility of
the cut up 67 above, here comes the ulcer: This WAS a Model 15-3
two inch in excellent condition. It's now round butted, Clark
barreled, smooth combat triggered, Leupold 2x scoped in quick
detach rings, and BlackNitride processed, with an 11 pound
trigger rebound spring, a Model 41 auto rear sight blade and a
front sight filed from eighth by half inch steel strapping. That
target was shot at 50 yards over sandbags with Federal 148 HBWCs.
I'd say the sacrifice was rewarded.

Mine is a commem. but still enjoy shooting it.
I think I paid less for it than a non-commem. model ($400).

In the late-1970s my dad bought a Model 67 from a co-worker as a nightstand gun (with the help of a few members on here I've dated it to 1972). In the early-1980s he sent it out to my Uncle in Arizona, Frank Glenn, and had it fitted with a 6" target HB and Herrett target grips. I always enjoyed shooting it over the years as it is a tack-driver with 148-gr WCs and last year when my dad relocated to FL he gave it to me. I'm happy to have it and it makes regular range trips with me to punch tight groups in paper assuming I do my part.

I found a police trade-in 67 at an LGS earlier this year, $350 released it from bondage. I love it!

I have a Model 67 (no dash) that was used in competition by a local policeman. Has a trigger sleeve and the action has been "breathed on". Accurate and fun. Entertaining when competing on a dueling target range against a 1911 that was limited to 6 rounds. The 1911 owner was upset when I kept beating him in DA. Dave_n

OK, I never claimed to be a good photographer, but took a few pics tonight. Had not messed much with my 67 no dash for a while. I cleaned it up a little. It was my 1st 4" K frame & 1st stainless Smith. (my wife kinda laid claim to it) I added the modified Herrett Stocks. They are big but comfortable. I bought them because I think they have a cool factor. Bob

Back in the early 70's, my brother and a friend both bought Model 67's , and had a local gun smith ream them so they could shoot .357 magnums in them. For whatever the reason they couldn't find any 66's at the time. Didn't seem to hurt the accuracy any. Only the "collector value" but they have shot them for years, with no ill effects.

The M-67 is a great gun. Smooth and dependable. My first duty revolver in 1986 before switching to autos.

Steel-6
Speed loaders? Hell, just carry 2 or 3 wheel guns.
