Default I Picked Up A Couple Of 14's

The auctions were ending a day apart . The first one was a -3 and the second one was a -4 .

I wanted the -4 more , but I didn't think that I would be able to get it at a price that I was willing to pay .

Well I ended up with both of them .

The -3 is in excellent condition and it came in the box with the wax paper and manual .

The -4 is in like new condition and it also came in the box with the wax paper , manual and some other papers .

The reason I wanted the -4 more was because it also has the target upgrades , target stocks , target hammer and target trigger .

I was going to sell the -3 or try and trade it for a 17/617 , but I like it .

There is enough differences in them that they seem like different models . I like that .

I must be getting blue gun fever . I only had 1 blue handgun until a year ago . Now 4 out of the 5 recent handguns have been blue .

I really like those 14's .

The main reason for me getting one was because I just started handloading , so I wanted a dedicated .38 and not use my .357 for shooting only .38's .

I kind of hate putting wear on these beautiful guns though . They have been in such great shape for over 40 and 30 years now .

Who said handloading saves you money ?

Compare your reloading cost to the prices of available .22 LR ammo.
It is strange, though, to leave the .22s home and go plinking with a .38.

Who can find .22's ? I don't like chasing it or any ammo . That is one of the reasons I started reloading . The other reason is the price of .45c and .44 mag. .

I like shooting larger calibers more than .22's . What is strange about that if you can afford it ?
