29-2 that I recently acquired
Recently acquired this on a trade. It has the 6" barrel and it dates around 1980 N742XXX, TH, TT, TS, WO. Stupidly, I traded my 8 3/8 P&R no dash 629 awhile back and figured I needed to fill that niche. I think I did alright

The model 29s and 629s seem to be getting more popular judging from the prices they have been pulling lately on GB.
Nice looking specimen you have there. Good luck with it.
Maybe its your 29-2 8 3/8" that I picked up this month. A gem. No, now I see yours was a 629-2.
I have been looking at a minty 629-3 6" but haven't made up my mind.

I had a 629 with the 8" barrel that I foolishly got rid of. I traded another handgun for this 29-2. The 629 I traded awhile back for a model 25-2. This 29-2 is filling that niche. Sorry for the confusion

Congrats on the trade and everyone needs one 44 Magnum. My only remaining one is a no dash 629 with 6 inch barrel.

Well good luck. You know one will pop up in the classifieds soon.
