They all went 10-8 .Hwy Patrolmen every one.
Was talking the other day about my "grail gun". Thats is it in the box. Others are just paying hommage. Trying out new camera. I am about to find my way around with it but have a tad to go yet. What do you get 5 Highway Patrolmen? Donuts.

That little lot does look good. How did you end up with 5 and what makes the one in the box your "grail gun"?

I love my Model 28 4"; to me, it is my favorite revolver. I would have loved to carry a 4" Highway Patrolman in a duty holster, but was hired way too late

I'm curious...what kind of camera did you get and which lens are you using.
It looks as if you're getting pretty close to where you need to be on your lighting...when you're shooting against a white backdrop. I'm guessing your light was to camera right? Add another light to camera left, or add a white reflector, and that'll help get rid of the little bit of shadows you have there.
I only have two Model 28s, but like 'em both. I'd probably go for another 4-inch if I found one in really good shape. But if the market keeps going the way it is, a top notch 28 will be out of reach for a poor Southern boy like me.

This is what makes the forum interesting to me, folks here have such varying tastes. While I appreciate a highway patrolman you couldn't hardly give me one; now whip out a flat latch 36 and all bets are off.
Quite a nice collection you have there!

LOL I used to carry one concealed on a daily basis. Bet that was longer than any shift.

Watchdog, you are good. I was shooting outside with the setting sun to camera right, on patio table with no artificial light. My new camera is a Nikon 200. The lens I shot these and the 27-2 is a Nikon 18-55, set at 18. However, I shot these with my old Nikon D50. It seems to have more clarity and detail than the 200. With that said, I probably need to learn the internals of the 200 a lot better than I know them now. Still work in progress. And boy do I have a ways to go.
