Default 31-1 defense ammo

looks like I did a duplicate post.

Sorry.

Wish I could delete this one, but can't figure out how.

Well, the Fiocchi wad cutters are very mild shooting and very accurate.

The Magtechs are also accurate, but much heavier loads.

The manufacturer says they reach 778 fps or a ME of 132 ft lbs.

My question is, has anyone used a Chrono on the Magtechs?

I'm wondering what I'm getting from my 2" 31-1.

Also, I wonder if the Magtechs would actually expand, or are they just going to act like SWCs?
I carry/shoot a pre-Model 30 (actually a post-War I-frame 32 HE snub) as my main CCW. I carry Georgia Arms hollow points in it, but I take as a given that they are unlikely to expand. On the other hand, they are about as fast as I feel safe to shoot in this little old gun, and the hollow points will have some deleterious effect on their recipient, even unexpanded. JMHO based on personal use, YMMV.
