Default S W 65-1

Just saw a 65-1 pinned barrel, recessed chambers with box
edition 1974 in not new unfired, but with slight turn line. Otherwise excellent condition.
What should be top offer?
thanks
tim

There are a large number of LEO trade-in 65-1s currently on the market at $299, but for (what I think you are saying?) an unfired since factory example I would think about $500.

What is the market like where you live? Around LV that model is available in Pawn shops for $400 after bargaining. Once in a while one can be picked up as low as $300 from an individual down on his luck. IMHO, the $500 is probably too high. ........... Big Cholla

If it's like new in the original box in nice condition with tools and documents with original serial # matching wood grips then the $500 suggested by murphydog seems very fair and perhaps $550 would still be reasonable.

What length barrel? The 4inch do not go for very big bucks that I have seen but the 3inch are a different story.
