Default Mod 29-2

Good Morning

I have a mod. 29-2 with a serial number of N427XXX - 8-3/8" barrel with adjustable sights.

As I don't really enjoy shooting this guy, I'm thinking of selling and replacing with an auto of some type.

I hope I correctly attached the photo and I'm wondering what this gun is worth. I have the original grips .... Somewhere!

Thank you very much

The year of your 29 should be 75-77 and value I have seen is anywhere from 900.00-1200 plus depending on condition and if it has box, grips etc. Make sure you put original grips on and take some closer pics and the guys here may be able to narrow it down a little better.

Thank you very much for your help. I've got the original box, tools, papers and grips somewhere but I normally put them someplace where I for sure won't lose them, and then promptly forget where that is .....

Probably shipped in 1977. With the original box and contents it would sell quickly here at the lower end of the price range mentioned.

Are you sure you want to sell it?

I agree with that. Lower end of the range for an 8-inch nickel gun. Doesn't mean it isn't a nice gun - just in less demand than the shorter ones. You'll eventually find a home for it. Some folks do prefer the long barrel, especially in the .44 since it really tames the recoil. Looks like you have taken good care of it.
