Friend looking @ nib 34 w/ 2" barrel. Question is, is the box to have the printed description such as Model 34 etc. on the end, or did S&W use the same square box for all 2" guns and add a label with the description. The sn, finish, etc. label is correct on the one end, but nothing on the other end.

Gun has pinned barrel, blue finish, square butt.

Some older boxes were marked on each end, like my mid 1960's S&W 32-1 was.



I made it "pretty" and gave it to my D-I-L.

Thanks......the box my friend is looking at only has the white label, not the silver lettering. Just wondering if original box or replacement. Owner is asking $750.
