How Much 36-1, 3" LNIB...?

Hi guys..just found a looks New model 36-1 with the elusive 3" barrel, round butt, looks original grips, box and papers, and tools. The dealer is asking $550...what say you guys on the price? It is the prettiest little Smith I have ever seen...from what i have seen bluing looks 99%...
Guess what i am asking is the price fair? Thanks

If as described and is mechanically and cosmetically in the 99% range or near, with correct box, paper and tools, $550 is a fair price indeed.

You should still haggle, but not much.

I bought my Model 36, no dash, 3" barrel last year. No box and no papers. I paid $400 and was pleased...I still am. It makes a great little - light weight - carry gun.

If the box and papers mean anything to you then that is a "fair" asking price. I would still go in with a handful of hundred dollar bills (or a stack of twenties) and haggle a little..............

Try for $500 out the door.

A 36, 2" just sold on G.B. ANIB and tools sold for $905. WOW! So if you could get it for $500 you would be doing good! Just remember, they don't go down in value. Bob
