I couldn't see the third picture but they have a Sile look to me.

Sile is one possibility, but the checkering pattern reminds me of Sanderson (minus the lacquer finish).

Many grip makers over the years would copy each other but add certain touches to it to make it their own.

Here is some Sile grips on an N frame square:

I don't think they are Sile the checkering and quality look way better than Sile to me

Well, it can be difficult sometimes with unmarked stocks . VM is one of the local stock experts so he may very well be correct.

Easy enough to call and e-mail Herrett's your photos to see if they recognize them, and someone else here may own a similar set and know who made them.

They are Herrett's stocks and someone put an awful finish on them.

I have an un-checkered set of TARGET STYLE N-Frame grips. I think that they are ugly (and all this type of grip) I will tell you what.... they were on my 28 no dash, 6" and I could shoot it very well with them on. Bob

The OP's are Herretts. I like thumbrest stocks myself. The main problem with them being finding a pair that fits your hand.
