S&W Revolver Model 34-1
I inherited a Model 34-1 2" barrel six shot 22 LR revolver from my father a few years ago and I would like to know when it was manufactured. The serial no. is 104428. It is a blue steel checkered square butt grip and has a diamond shape on both sides of the handle. Thanks.

not positive still waiting for book from s&w but i think its 1957-58

Welcome to the Forum. My condolences on your loss. I absolutely love my Model 34-1. I had to change from the serrated target trigger to the smooth faced combat trigger, and switch to the larger Herret Shooting Master grips to make mine a shooter.

When my granddaughters come I have to check and make sure my 34 and 63 are still there when they leave. Those are their favorites.
