Hi,
I just purchased a model 48-2 at an auction. Serial # is #6K4750

Can anyone help with date of manufacture?

Thanks in advance!

Welcome to the Forum
Looks like sometime in 1974 as per the Standard Catalog for a shipping year.

Thanks for the info. I don't yet have possession of the gun but Im thinking of putting target grips on it. Would like to find period grips if I can.
