Default Model 53 Jet, in Shiny Nickel

Here is quite the stunning amount of steel, nickel and wood. What a package these make. That barrel looks like a shining runway in the middle of a moon lit night.
Anyway, this one came available a few years back. I have passed up the Jets for years. I would pick them up and look at them then I would lay them back down. Well, this one is in unbelievable condition with all the goodies. I brought this one home. Of course it was coupled up with the Jet... Blue. They made the trip together. Don't you just love 'em?
And, no, I won't shoot this one.

The Jet... Blue running buddy.

Those smooth, non-relieved rosewood target grips send a tingle up my leg...

What an amazing gun. You have two, and I'm afraid to buy one!

Traveling companions. Too awesome: two awesome Jets with all the trimmings. Having a nickel sounds hard to match. Thanks for sharing. The blue 6" is an awesome gun, so I like them both especially together.

Default NI 53

Sir, have you been in my safe?

My NI 53 was shipped 28 Feb 1962 and has a rework date of Mar 1962. Maybe my gun was refinished before it was shipped? It letters as shipped as a blued gun. Does your gun letter as a factory Ni?
