Default could use some help with decision

I have a 4" 617. I would like a .357 mag for shooting plates and bowling pins.. I've been looking at the 686 plus 7 shot, I see there a 686 plus which comes with a factory tuned action, and a Pro Series 686-8,357 mag5 inch barrel, also the Model 327 TRR8 which stands alone due to the coolness factor..what should I get..

Most of the time I fall for the coolness factor & some different grips.

A 4 inch 686 would go well with your 617 and they would be a great looking set.

Actually, I would go for the 627-5 with its all steel frame for the weight and 8 shot cylinder. But, each to his own!
