4 inch Model 66 No Dash - Price?
Outside of completed auctions on GunBroker what to you all put as a fair price to pay for a 4 inch no dash 66? No box or papers, but excellent, barely fired condition.
I'm thinking $650
Thanks

If you found a nice one for $650, don't hurt yourself doing a back-flip.
They just are not out there. Trust me, I am looking.
Pinned and Recessed Model 19s in nice shape are going for $625 - $675 where I am at. 66's seem to go for more.
The only one I have seen in person is a decent 66-2 with Target Stocks, and the guy wants $795.00. Sorry, not from me.

There was a 66 no dash at a LGS for that price a few months ago that was a FHP trade in with rough stocks, so it would seem to be a fair price. I've only seen two in the last year, plus the one I bought for $400 several years ago.

4" brings less than 2.5" It may be okay but I'd start at $575.00

Depends on how bad you want the gun. Do you want it because you really like that model? I've paid more than I wanted a couple times but once I got it home all about price was forgotten. I've also found that $50 dollars I paid more I see them selling for that soon after. Life's short enjoy

I just saw a 4" p&r 65 for sale in a pawn shop with an asking price of $535. I've just been schooled by the pros here that it's the same as the 66 except with fixed sights. The stocks were a bit scruffy and it had some wear but nothing too horrible.
