Talking Leather and other accesories for my new mod 64

Hi Guys!
I am going to pick up my new S&W model 64 with pencil barrel on Friday. I would love to get a Tyler T-grip and some good leather for it. What are your holster/belt reccomendations? Please add some pics if you can. I am planning on using it as a field/camping gun. Thanks

Wright Leather Works makes them for 4" K Frames. I have carried my Shield in their Predator for almost a year now. Their workmanship and quality is second to none. I like mine so well that I have placed another order for one for my 640-1. With jeans I carry it on one of their solid one piece bull hide belts that are 1/4" x 1 1/2". With shorts I carry it on a Wilderness Instructor belt with 5 rows of switching.

Since I make my own leather stuff, I can't recommend a brand but there are a few things I think a field holster should have.
I recently made these 2 field holsters for a forum member.
One's for a 6" 686 and the other's for a 5" 1911.

They have closed bottoms, a hold down strap and a nice wide stable belt loop. They're made of 8 to 9 ounce leather and are designed to ride at a comfortable level. If it's not for concealed carry, there's no reason for the gun butt to be pokin' you in the side.
My personal belt's a double layer, hand stitched leather belt. It's not reinforced but so far it hasn't needed it.

I'm no help on holsters...........but, for the grip adapter I went with the BK Grip as the Tyler T folks have been extremely flaky for the past few years.

The BK was shipped promptly and works just fine.
